Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Kazar Ackerman leads the Norco Seventh-day Adventist Church with a shepherd’s heart and a deep gratitude for God’s grace. Born into a family with roots in American Samoa, Pastor Ackerman’s life journey included both challenges and truimphs that have shaped his faith and compassion for others. After expereincing God’s tranforming power firsthand, he pursued his calling to ministry, earning a Master of Divinity degree from La Sierra University. His preaching blends biblical truth with real-life experience, offering hope and encouragement, and a clear vision of Christ’s love. Pastor Ackerman is passionate about building a church family where everyone can grow closer to Jesus and live in the anticipation of His soon return. Pastor Ackerman has been married to the love of his life, Leua, for twenty-six years. Together they have four children, Jevon 34, Kazaria 22, Ezekiel 14, and Ezrah 12; and three grandchildren, Joseph 15, Jaylah 11, and Jazzlyn 9.
